Just sat down for first coffee of the morning (first of many so decided to scan through the user guide for the printer

There is one reference to dpi that relates to print quality and gives options for 300 or 600 dpi - this could be a factor in the issue though I doubt it

Further searching found an output control panel

    Attachment 347255

making changes here and testing you output should allow you to find a setting that gives the required output save the settings as a preset and make it default for this type of job
You need to ensure that the page size is what you need and also try the fit to page checkbox, if this does not work for your output there are fine zoom controls, ensure that the output size chosen in AI is the same as the image size here and the paper size here is correct. this should give a good default setting - if you need too you can then fine tune as you need

As you are printing a graphic (all output from AI I class as graphics) you may want to check out the Image options button on the mid right of the dialogue

Hope we have a solution for your issue
Thank you so much for taking the time to search the pdf and continue to help me troubleshoot this. I just tried printing the document using "fit to page" checkbox and it still came out too small. Those tools in the "More Options" tab look promising. Unfortunately, I seem to have a different print dialog. If I hit the "page setup," "properties," and "advanced" buttons, none of them have a sub-tab named "more options"

The only thing I can suggest is that you are maybe running an older driver as the one I downloaded is the current one as far as I could tell.

I will try and find a current driver but will not be until tomorrow, it getting late here in the UK

@JeremiahE I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it.

Can you explain how you reinstalled the printer? Which driver did you use?

I checked in the windows catalogue, but could not find your printer mentioned:
    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...h.aspx?q=epson
suggesting that your model is not longer supported.
That may also be the reason that your driver was deleted (during a Windows update).

    OK

Here is a link to the US support department and their Driver section there are various software options shown including drivers, utilities and even Firmware updates find your driver revision, (should be on the first or last page of the driver but could be anywhere), there is also a contact link on that page to get to the Epson Technicians, who should be able to talk you through the possible issues. I would advise that you discuss any potentials with your boss and any others who use the printer before you make any changes suggested by EpsonAs these changes could adversely effect others access to the printer

@PiKo When I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer before, I went to settings>printers&scanners. Then I selected my printer and clicked "remove device." To reinstall the printer, I went again to settings>printers&scanners and clicked "add a printer or scanner." I searched for the printer on the network and added it.

Just now, I tried another method of updating the driver by going to settings>printers&scanners Then I selected my device and clicked manage>printer properties. I went to the "Advanced" tab, and in the section labeled "Driver:" it says "Microsoft IPP Class Driver" (I'm not sure what that means) I hit the "New Driver" button, selected my printer from the list, and went through the Add Printer Driver Wizard. Prints still come out small.

@Barman58 Thank you for sending that link to the Epson drivers. I downloaded the latest driver from the webpage and went through the installation process. Sadly, the prints still come out too small. I tried calling Epson the other day, but they weren't too helpful. I was on the phone with them for a long time until my work shift ended and I had to head home.

Did you try to reach them from Settings / Devices / Printers and Scanners page?

Don't have Epson printer myself, but this app could be separated from print dialogue

Update: After installing the drivers straight from the Epson webpage sent by Barman58, I now have the print dialog that includes a "More Options" tab. The print still comes out small when printing at 100%, but I now should be able to adjust the zoom size (at least in Adobe Acrobat) Through guess-and-check, I can find the right size. Unfortunately, not every program shows this same print dialog. If I print a JPEG using the default viewer, the print dialog is much simpler. However, I now have a workaround that should be fine for 90% of what I print.

Good to hear, if you can find it, the Fit to Page is often a good starting point - some drivers will actually show you what magnification this needs which can then be used manually for other items.

There is a potential problem with all jpg type images which are bitmapped images these are not scalable more than a small amount or the actual pixels start to show up as you enlarge them. When the original jpegs are created they need to be built for their final use. The vector images created by AI and some other applications are actually mathematical formula which the right type of printer will recalculate for each use and then creates a temporary bitmap image which is printed. The best output from AI is by printing to a postscript printer which fully understand the mathematics used in AI so creates an exact image
