    Other Colors for HDD enclosures?

Might be a bit of a long shot this as I have looked.

Other then black, silver or white, is it possible to purchase a USB 3 2.5 or SSD/HDD enclosure only, in red, yellow or any other colour then mentioned above?

If you are trying to use colours to identify different disks then consider getting some rolls of different coloured insulation tape to wrap around them as markers.

    Thanks Denis,

Done that with my children then the grandkids, started with one stripe as enclosures increased, two stripes and the system works fine.

But yesterday two of my grandkids were at each other, the drive is ok but the enclosure is cracked and he's blaming the other for swapping.

While replying, you have just sparked a creative idea, I vape, I could use vape wrap.

I recently got a couple 2.5" that are clear, can read the drive's label. The brand is Sabrent.

Amazon also has colored carrying cases for them.

    Thanks Berton, I've seen those.

It's not the drive that created the issue but the enclosure that got swapped.

I should have thought about this before creating the thread, another idea, plastic coat/spray the enclosure, I'm wondering if any heat might be an issue? hmmm.

So couldn't you simply get them lined up with each holding their own HDD enclosures then put a single red insulating tape stripe around the enclosures held by the grandchild who has the single red insulating tape stripe around his/her forehead and so on with the others?

We should have done the same when we were children. Our Nan was always calling us by the wrong names [there were a dozen of us]. We could even have written our names on the insulating tape {but we'd have had to replace them each time we had a bath}.

I just searched for that and it strikes me as a good idea. In addition to being used all over the item, it appears to be robust enough for handling.
    - Whilst it's only once in a blue moon, I do have to replace my insulation tape stripes every so often. It is not made for repeated handling.

Another option would be to look on that well-known online auction site for HDD enclosures made by "Orico". I have several - silver, black, blue and red - as well as a clear one.
