Could someone write a powershell script to force Download and Install?
missing drivers (compatible with the latest version of Windows 10)
Because now a lot of the required drivers go to Optional Updates
Why not use something that already exists to scan for, download and apply updates?
E.g.
Download WuMgr - MajorGeeks
or perhaps the tool in Option 7 here:
Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10
(you don't have to disable Windows Updates to use it before you ask)
Because I want to limit configuring windows after installation only to run the PS script, to achieve this I just need to automate the search for drivers using Windows Update
None of these drivers are required, they are optional and are there if you experience issues with existing drivers.
Having a script to auto install them could cause you issues with your computer hard to diagnose.

I run a computer service and more than once I have encountered a situation where one or several drivers that were signaled in the device manager (as not installed) went to optional updates, so such a script would be useful, additionally, forcing the download of drivers would shorten the waiting time for their installation
It means you don't have proper drivers installed, please fill in "My Computer" specifications so that someone may direct you to driver download page:

Having correct drivers installed should offer less "optional drivers" in Windows update.
You did not understand, my point is that in some laptops that I repair the drivers go to the optional ones

If you're looking for a solution to avoid visiting manufacturer website for a laptop that you repair then you're doing a wrong thing for sure.a situation where one or several drivers that were signaled in the device manager (as not installed) went to optional updates
Also know that not 100% all drivers are classified as "optional" in Windows updates, some are downloaded regularly without any prompt.
You can configure this behavior in following location:
Settings -> System -> About -> Advanced system settings -> Hardware -> Device installation settings
If this option does not satisfy your goal then again you're doing a wrong thing for not downloading required drivers.
Where you are considering using drivers now listed as 'optional' under the new delivery system, great caution is advised.
Don't use Windows 10's 'Optional Updates' if you want a stable system
I'm afraid I don't see how a script would help with these.
It does look as if some confusion might arise where needed drivers might not be delivered given the change in the significance of their designation as 'manual' or 'automatic' though.
