Screen saver won't work

I have 2 new monitors LG 27GL63T-B on a GTX1660. Window 10 Pro v2004.

Whatever the power scheme, they will remain on.

In Device Manager. they show as 'Generic PnP Monitor'.

On LG's site, I found 27GN88A.zip on

ran it and it tells me that the installation successful. They remain 'Generic PnP Monitor and screen saver won't work.

Any idea?

The driver installed for Monitor have nothing to do with screen saver there must be a process or program keeping your computer not becoming inactivity before the screen saver turns on.

Try performing clean boot state.

I followed the procedure above and it was one of the NVIDIA services. I took the opportunity to turn off a lot of unwanted stuff. thanks again.
