Nuc shows only half of installed memory

A Crucial P5 M.2 280 1TB card is installed in one of two M.2 slots. The NUC only registers approximately 500KB available. Do I need a card in both slots? Something else?
Please see below for details. (Win 10 Pro V2004 Build 19041.610) (NUC is 8i7HVB)Nuc shows only half of installed memory-nuc-storage-problem20201106.jpg

What does Disk Management show for the drive?

My guess is that you have a partition, with a lot of unallocated space after it.

One way to have gotten that could have been cloning a smaller drive to a larger one.

If there is no allocated partiton after the 400+GB one, you can use Disk Management to add the space into the formatted partition.

Run: DiskParInfo.bat - Click here to go to the BSOD batch repository to download and run this batch file.

Open disk management > by default some columns are compressed > widen each Status and Volume > make sure the contents within the parenthesis are in full view and that none of the characters are cutoff > view disk 0 > widen this row as needed so that all of the characters are in full view > post an image into the thread
