Press the Windows key+X choose Device Manager. Are there any devices with yellow flags? Is there a heading for CD/DVDRW drives? Is there a yellow flag next to it?
If there is a heading and no Yellow flags, press the Windows key+X and choose Disk Management. In the lower pane do you see your DVD drive there? if it doesn't have the a drive letter, or if it is sharing a drive letter of another device, you can right click it and choose Change Drive Letter or Paths and choose a Drive Letter not being used.
If that still doesn't work Try this https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-dvd-cd-drive-not-working-missing-windows-10/
