can't connect my s9 to new desktop using usb

I have assembled a new computer running win 10 version 1909 and can't connect the phone to the computer anymore. I have installed the drivers and smart switch.
When I connect the computer makes a sound and my android phone displays a warning: the connected device does not have access to data on this device. Reconnect the usb cable and retry.
The problem is in the desktop as everything is fine when I connect to my laptop.

    A few things to check:

    1) Are you using the same USB cable to connect to the desktop system as you are for the laptop? If not, the USB cable could be a problem, for example, if the USB cable is charging only cable.

    2) Try going into settings (on Windows) > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Make sure that the phone shows up there and that it is not reporting any problems.

    Hello hsehestedt,
The problem is solved, bur I don't know how. Of course I used the same data cable and I looked up and checked all devices. The android is being seen there with the remark that no device driver is available. The same holds for four out of six samsung ssd's. But the ssd's work perfectly. I checked the android usb driver with Driver Booster. According to this application it is properly installed. The device manager shows all the ssd's with their proper names, however under the heading of other devices I find 5 unknown devices.
After updating system drivers with driver booster, which needed a restart, all in a sudden my android appeared in windows explorer under this PC. There is little logic in windows 10!
