hey, my usb keyboard doesn't work anymore after unplugging it. ive restored my pc, installed new windows, deleted ''old'' drivers and installed new. nothing. ive tried device troubleshooting from 'run'. ive tried every usb-slot too. HELP.
Well my first question would be, do you have any other USB devices like flash drives? Do they work in your Computer?
One thing I do to test and issue like this, I have 2 computer systems here, and if a device isn't working on one system, I try a different system to test, if the device doesn't work on either system, then the Device failed. I've had USB flash drives, mice and USB Wireless controllers that have failed over the years.
If you have a second system it would be a good idea to test the keyboard on that system. If it doesn't work on that machine, then the keyboard is faulty.
