All you have to do on the Window 10 pc is to plug the printer in. Then it will either auto detect or you can go to View Devices and Printers in the Control Panel, right click and Add devices and printers. It will detect your printer. Then open the Microsoft Store and get the HP Smart app. From there you can follow what I posted above.
Hello, i connected and installed my hp ink tank wireless 415 printer to my windows 10 64bit pc and its now printing successfully.....i have now shared the printer on this pc on my office network and tried to connect it to another pc which is running windows 7 32bit. I also installed the windows 7 32bit driver for this printer on my windows 7 pc...but when i go to network and try to connect with this printer it says "Windows cannot connect to the printer". I also printed from my windows 10 pc via HP Smart app still same problem....also tried connecting to printer through add a network printer, selected shared printer by name but still says "windows cannot connect to the printer"....help
Hi mate. Ive had a similar problem with a HP printer. In my case the print spooler seems to lock up. It will print te first page and then has troubles from then on, unable to cancel documents and clear the spooler. HP Smart App gave me the same problem. I sorted the problem out by going to the HP website and downloading the complete software. No problems since. I hope this helps you too
I have no problem printing from windows 10 on which the printer is installed, just can’t connect to windows 10 printer from other PCs on the network running windows 7

Problem solved....just did windows update a couple of times and now i can connect to my windows 10 printer from other pcs on the network
