I'm not on my WIN 10 computer currently.

What results does this series of commands generate?

As this is thread is same conversation I will post my MiniTool findings. I run MiniTool and see a hidden 16mb SRP. I also have a 499mb recovery partition, a 100MB fat32 partition, and a 465gb C: drive partition. I am unable to Install Win 10 service pack 1809 with the complaint being "We couldn't update the system reserve partition". All on a new Samsung 860 SSD with Win10 installed from the web.

So, looking for careful next steps. Thinking just shrink main C: partition for room and expand the little SRP to the 500MB.

Before I go rooting around MiniTool PW to get it done I wanted to see if there are any other thoughts, guidance(s), that type deal. thanks all!

    Hi chuckpen,

    1) Please open a new thread.

    In the new thread:

    2) Upload images (steps/test results) into the thread or post share links using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

Take Screenshot in Windows 10 Windows 10 General Tips Tutorials

    3) Open disk management > by default some columns are compressed > widen each Status and Volume > make sure the contents within the parenthesis are in full view and that none of the characters are cutoff > view disk 0 > widen this row as needed so that all of the characters are in full view > post an image into the thread

    4) Post an image using Minitool Partition Wizard

    5) There are log collectors used in another forum room.
Run each V2 and DM and upload results into the new thread

    6) Search for Panther logs (they may be hidden)
    Post share links for:
    setuperr
    setupact

    7) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    8) Run Sea Tools for Windows
    long generic test
Post an image of the test result into the thread

    9) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    10) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:

Leave it alone. It's meant to be that size.
