I do realize that Toshiba has left the room when it comes to laptop manufacturing but are they still on the hook for proper drivers and support?
all info is greatly appreciated

The best tested drivers for the computer's configuration are displayed on the computer or motherboard manufacturer websites.
There may be many updates of non-Microsoft drivers over time by Windows.
The Toshiba website displayed a new wireless driver for Windows 10 x64:
Satellite S55-C5360 Support | Toshiba
Press the Windows key+X choose Device Manager. If none of your devices have yellow flags, then you do not Need drivers. Unless one of your devices isn't working properly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The support page that is linked in Post# 2 is quite extensive with several drivers for your model and many other links to their support and community forums.

the drivers page had seemed rather stale most were 2016 and 2017 drivers i was just checking
