    Thanks, good to know it will work. Simply figuring a way to attach so as to not be loose is not going to be hard.

    A simple trick is to put it in an empty 5.25" bay (for DVD) and screw only the 2 right screws (one side only). You shouldn't have any problem because it is very lightweight.

    I got one of these a few years back (Thermaltake - Global - Max 2506 SATA HDD Rack - ST-009-M21STZ-A2
    ) and use it to add/remove 2.5" drives to my production desktop as needed. Way cool & way compact. If you have a spare 5.25" bay in your case, works like a champ. Costs ~US$70 at ebay: Thermaltake St-009-m21stz-a2 Max 2506 SATA HDD Rack | eBay.

    PS: there's also a 4-bay version but the swing gates for inserting/removing individual drives are made of plastic and are too fragile for repeated or incautious use. The 6-bay version has metal arms instead. Much better, but only works with 2.5" drives that are 9mm high or narrower.
