    Hi,
Recently i faced i bios issue which rendered my laptop unusable. so, i have sent it to repair center and waiting for it to get repaired.
Now i am trying to figure out what caused the problem so i can avoid it in future.

Could be that your BIOS battery died along with your notebook battery?? More likely you have important data in your Page file that got deleted when your battery died. They Repair shop should tell you exactly what happens from which you can learn what not to do in the future or it may have been a hardware issue that was not preventable

you think so but i tried clear cmos and it turned on but after restart it failed to boot and i even installed new windows but issue remained persistent, eeprom problem is them answer as it is hardware problem, but i think there is another issue the repair center is not that cooperative.

Windows may do something to CMOS (changing date/time is an example) but firmware in BIOS (EEPROM) requires specific programs to use thru OS or if it's built in as BIOS option.

Probably the BIOS/UEFI settings battery needed replacing. They last around 7 years approximately, assuming they are of decent quality.
When that battery fails for whatever reason, safe defaults are set, these in some cases may not be ideal for a particular Laptop.

More serious is when the EEPROM chip itself dies in which case a new one has to be soldered in, usually the whole MOBO is replaced instead.

I have zapped a BIOS 20+ years ago by trying to get a DOS program working under Windows 3.1 but it was when there was not so much protection in that area.

yeah replacing the eeprom was repair center answer to why the laptop does not power up, they asked my permission to replace it, it will cost me around $100.
