Ok, so you can resize a partition... which in this case you can do by clicking the right hand end and dragging it left..

Here I'm moving D: by clicking on it, holding the mouse button down, and dragging the whole partition left.

In your case, it would be the EFI partition, dragged left into the unallocated space created by resizing C:

Remember you must then Apply the change (menu option). The program warns you if you try to close it without doing so.

Caveat- before doing all this make sure you have a current disk image (e.g. using Macrium Reflect (free) ).

If I was you, I would repartition the whole disk from scratch. That would need a clean Windows installation, of course.

For GPT I would do something like this:

EFI Partition - MSR Reserved Partition - System Partition - Recovery Partition (WinRE) - OTHER

PS - Do a full system backup (With Macrium Reflect for instance) before doing anything to the disk. Keep a backup of your personal data too, on an external drive to be on the safe side.

dalchina I created the 50mb unallocated space partition was easy as mentioned (see attached) however ...........I must be doing something wrong for the move partition option I have clicked on the EFI Partiton and holdimg mouse button down etc several times not seeing how to move it left

Use minitool partition wizard, as I said. Your screenshot shows Disk Management.

Here's the screen shots of Mini Tool with 50mb unallocated space created and trying to move EFI partition to the left......not sure why it wont let me move the EFI partition to the left

If stuck and doing this from Minitool's boot disk (boot your PC from it) doesn't work, then you can delete the EFI partition and rebuild it. If you choose that option, create a disk image first.

I can't test moving the EFI partition as it's between my Recovery partition and my System partition.

I can't test moving the EFI partition as it's between my Recovery partition and my System partition.

There is no need to move the EFI at all. It is tucked neatly at far most right. UEFI does not care about partition order - it finds EFI automatically.

The OPs minitool image shows no MSR partition, so all OP needs to do is expand the C drive left and right using minitool. That can be a little tricky if not used to move/size interface, as you have to untick checkbox "using data enhanced mode" and then you can drag the C partition left and right to fill up all the space.

Ah - missed that. However, OP needs to uncheck the box I mentioned to be able to move things. I think that is why OP is having issues moving things as the move/resize only gives partial capability if box is checked. That box was added in fairly recently.
