If you did not format anything yet, try this solution:
Inaccessible Boot Device nach Update bei Windows 10 - die IT werkstatt Kiel
If you dont understand german and google translator wont help you:
you have to recover the registry backup from /windows/system32/config/regback to /windows/system32/config and rename the reg files. Before that, do a backup at least from /winsows/system32/config
When the computer is powered on now what do you see and hear?
Use the windows 10 iso > windows advanced troubleshooting menu > command prompt
Use a camera or smart phone camera to take pictures and post images into the thread:
1) diskpart
2) list disk
3) select disk 0
4) list partition
5) exit
6) c: dir
7) d: dir
exit
Hello,
after regular update, my PC will not start, all I get is INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE Error and DSOD. I can still access windows advanced troubleshooting menu > command prompt and I have been trying and trying. I have also managed to update the BIOS but no luck. I have followed tutorial from zbook, post 2. Since in step 14 I had osdevice partition=F, I typed chkdsk /r F: in step 19 - is it correct? But I´m not sure what to type in step 20 instead of G...?
Can you please help me?

OK I guessed and typed: sfc /scannow /offbootdir=F:\ /offwindir=F:\windows - seems to be running now:

And I cannot continue, because after typing bootrec /fixboot, I see Access is denied.
And when I power on, it is still the sam BSOD, starting in Safe Mode not possible either, nor the restore point is working, nothing so far...this is mad
The problem with inaccessible boot device in January was related to Spectre and Malestrom.
Microsoft responded with Windows updates that had unexpected problems:
inaccessible boot device
problems with USB ports
