    Restoring a font from Windows 7


    I have been trying for 6 hours now to try and get the Segoe UI font from Windows 7. As usually, I got the font files from an iso, and right clicked each and pressed install. They all installed succesfully, but they were in my appdata folder which was weird? Okay, so I rebooted to see it change, but nothing changed. It only changes in Settings or Google Chrome, probably in other apps aswell but I only noticed it change in those 2. Why the heck isn't that working? It used to work before, I have ran out of ideas of what could be causing this. BTW, previewing the fonts from Control Panel shows the original Segoe UI, which I also don't understand, since it changes for the apps I mentioned above.

    I pressed the DaFont link on the Microsoft page. They now link outside their site?

    OP would be better off here: Segoe Font Family Fonts - 21 Free Fonts | Download Free Fonts for Desktop & Webfonts because that DaFont download is only one font, not the family.
