Adding an item to this menu

Can’t seem to add an image, it says uploaded, but it’s not in the manage photos window, never had trouble before 🤷🏻

If you mean add an image to your post...

    Quickie screenshot directions.

    1. Use the PrtSc key to take a screenshot.
    2. Open an image editor like "Paint", and click Paste > Paste.
    3. Click on Select > Rectangular Select and drag a box around what you want to show.
    4. Click on Crop.
    5. Click on File > Save as > PNG picture and save it to somewhere like your desktop.
    6. Now, in your Ten Forums post, click on the Insert Image icon.

    7. Then click on.. From Computer > Browse (to where you saved the screenshot) > Upload File(s).

    8. You will then see something like this. That's your "posted" image.

Try converting to another format just to be sure that there isn't a problem with the image.

My question is, is there a way to add Date Taken to this menu ?

    Handy when I do a file search….

    Thanks

Right click the "Name" column at the top of Explorer under the address bar then choose "More"

    Then add required field(s).

I know that, that’s why I said when using search files, when a search is performed, the custom layout is not used, I have to select date taken every time, from the list of options….need it in that menu, hoped there was a tweak program or registry change that could do it….thanks

Once you set up a particular folder's search results to match what you want then future searches on that folder should adhere to your decisions.
But other folder searches will not play ball. You'd have to work your way around every frequently-searched-in folder for it to be any use.

But please do it in one folder then go somewhere else and then return to it to another search.
If that set-up folder is not playing ball then you need to reset all folder views that deviate from the default layout you set for that folder type.
Reset Folder View Settings to Default - TenForumsTutorials

When that test passes, you can use LesFerch's utility to present search results in the way you want. It carries out the tortuous Registry changes needed while you make a pot of tea.
Set a Default Folder View for All Folders using WinSetView - Option Two - TenForumsTutorials
Do notice that the tutorial title doesn't give full justice to Les' utility. You can set up different folder types & different folder type search results how you want them - so Music folder search results can include length, Video folder search results can include height & width, ...

    All the best,

For me this works in File Explorer search and I don't have the "date taken" field displayed as a column.
