Todays my first day off since starting my new "career"/job. I'm really loving it but its very hot and physical. hmmmmm, and not like it sounded!
I'm working in a machine shop programming/running industrial laser cutting machines. Its been many many years since I worked in a shop and the learning curve with the new technology is fairly steep. Still , as I said, its pretty cool being back in to a more "mainstream" profession. These laser's are pretty awesome too lol. Looks like I'll be putting off full retirement for a few years.

It's super bright, had to cut light down to half. Otherwise beautiful picture, now I can see much better than on 24".

Well today I got the creator update for my 10 desktop. Having a play around with it but will go back to my laptop in a minute and be back to check this out another day. So far so good.

Yes indeed it is! 35 years on the road to this

Good for you there, Scott. Glad you're liking it.

Thanks, and I am liking it more than I thought I would. Very interesting and ..... lots of computers!

It's great when you can look forward to going to work.

Yeah, was a little worried about that part....... been on the road for so long, then this semi-retirement for the last year or so. Actually waking up before the alarm goes off and ready to go! Of course...... don't know how long THAT part will last . But it is a very interesting and varied job. Each run is different.... different steel, shapes etc. Multiple things to go wrong and track down...... man you should SEE the I/O screen!!! lol
