Yes The Source does sell Pi stuff. On Line only and expensive, last time I looked. Nothing in store, not around here anyway. Wishful thinking actually. I don't think this will, if true, change anything on this side of the boarder. In the US though, Radio Shack could be close to the radio Shack of old. Where you could actually buy electronic components. I miss those days. They have one little shelf way in the back with soldering irons, hook up wire and not much else.
I think with shipping coming from US, it will be more or less the same, Because at the price The Source is selling it, it qualifies for free shipping. Unless you buy it with other components, then it's different.
But I bought my Pi 3 from Amazon.ca for $45 (by Canakit) with Free Shipping.

Bell bought Radio Shack Canada division ,the sale didn't include US Radio Shack.
The Source has a Sense Pi for $68.95... Buyapi.ca has it for $48.95

68.95 wouldn't be bad if you got free shipping. Like badrobot said it wouldn't be any more expensive than buying from Adafruit or Pimoroni and having to pay shipping. I'm hardly ever just ordering a Pi though. Their kits are way overpriced though, for what's in them. IMHO.

Anyway, it looks like we won't see any bricks and mortar Adafruit stores in Canada. I'm guessing that's what they wanted, retail outlets to sell their stuff in.

Similar to what I did to my Pirate Radio, http://www.instructables.com/id/Mod-...VNN1GLII4YOBHB I was tempted to use different color buttons but went with all black.

I just got a new toy that should help me with future Pi projects, a 3D Printer!

This is the one I got: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/con...=Y&sku=1280962

It's a low end model, wanted to learn about 3D printing without spending a fortune so I think this fits the bill.

Just ordered my mini rover kit, https://www.adafruit.com/product/2939 and some extra bits to make it 4 wheel drive. 200 bucks counting shipping and prepaid duty taxes etc. That's the rover, 2 more motors and wheels, powerboost 1000c, big honking battery, DS3231 RTC, another Pi Zero W, and a few other odds and ends I'll need to at least get it running. And that's just the basic minimum to make it drivable. No motion sensors etc. They will have to wait till I find some more funds. This won't get touched until Christmas. Just basic tests to make sure I didn't get any DOA bits. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

For now I'll just get it drivable with my MINI keyboard. https://learn.pimoroni.com/tutorial/...eless-keyboard
Eventually I plan on having an autonomous mode, with the option to take manual control.

I hope I never have to do that, not that detailed an install. Some of the stuff I did in the early days, when I got my first Pi came close, I think? Too early in the morning to read what you posted and understand it, lol. Will have another look in an hour or so after my morning walk and another cup of Java.
