    Is that display backlit? Easy to read from a "short" distance? For what I want (to be able to read it from a good distance) I think I may go with the Micro Dot pHat or Unicorn pHat.

    I just read something on youtube ,saying it has a blue back light, the 10K trim potentiometer controls the brightness ..

    From the picture in the link you posted, that's sounds about right. It has a blue background. I'll likely buy one at some point. Might even buy that kit just for fun. Might be something to sit down and play with, with some of my grand kids.

    a lot of the Project Book is working with scratch ,kids like that for programing i think,based on a lot of youtube videos i have seen ,

    Yeah, I think scratch was developed with kids in mind. They'd get way to frustrated trying to learn Python or C and likely just give up early on. I know python was, and still is, a struggle for me at times..

    I struggle with the English language..and that makes learning computer language HARD for me ,so maybe I'll study Scratch ..
