That's not a bad price for that, bookmarked thanks. Will likely add one to my next order to play around with. You'll have it all figured out and up and running by then.

Is that display backlit? Easy to read from a "short" distance? For what I want (to be able to read it from a good distance) I think I may go with the Micro Dot pHat or Unicorn pHat.

From the picture in the link you posted, that's sounds about right. It has a blue background. I'll likely buy one at some point. Might even buy that kit just for fun. Might be something to sit down and play with, with some of my grand kids.

Yeah, I think scratch was developed with kids in mind. They'd get way to frustrated trying to learn Python or C and likely just give up early on. I know python was, and still is, a struggle for me at times..
