Yeah, it was on 10586.494. But since November it got all the cum updates everybody else did, plus a few in between before the next cum update.

Here's how to subscribe to it.....

OK, I've finished my testing (and found some sneaky stuff in the process) and here's what I've found:

In order to subscribe to any kind of Preview updates, I first have to change the computer to Insider. On both computers, I wasn't allowed to "Get Insider Preview Builds" because Windows said, "We need to change security settings . . ." However, if I leave things alone, I can "Check for Updates" to my heart's content, so there's no problem there.

Pretty much from the get-go, Lappy has never been able to Get Insider Preview Builds on that partition; it is the one I did the actual update from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 on. It offers, but never follows through . . . as noted in the paragraph above.

I have never tried to change the partition I did the actual update from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 on to Get Insider Preview Builds until today. And . . . I get the same "We need to change security settings . . ." on the Desktop as I did on Lappy.

So, at this point, I'm going to quit messing around and get rid of that stupid iSkySoft.

Discretion is the better part of valor.... or something like that! Mine was in a VM, so whatever wanted to blow up, no real loss. Smart choice, as usual!

And, since I'm not too worried about reinstalling, especially since I've learned to use PowerShell, I'm going to do a clean install of Build 14393.5 and let it go at that.
