I know I did the FF update, ran CCleaner and SAS quick scan, then did a restart.

Just FYI Computiac:
A Reset in FF will maintain your profile, while reverting probably nuke it. It's supposed to, however, stop the auto-updating when you revert.
Easily Revert to Older Versions of Firefox and Chrome
