I seen that last night and was thinking the same thing ,,,I think now soon we will see them for sale ,from china.

the only way I will ever own a 3d printer is if I win the loto, or the Ashby Legion chase the ace .lol
I'm hoping copies will start showing up. The 3D print file is open source. Sooner or latter somebody will print one, 3D scan it, and then injection mold one. I've already gone back to plan A and plan on buying an Xbox one. No 3D printer this year. I don't think what I could afford could print something that big anyway.

EDIT: That case would be great for my weather clock though. Looks like I'd have room to add a battery, etc.

Actually, after taking a closer look, I don't think it will work for me. As near as I can tell, it looks like the sense hat is mounted right on top of the Pi, with no spacer/stacking header between them. That's what it looks like anyway. That won't work for me, it will just mess up my temperature readings. I'd also have to swap out my A+ for a B+ or 2B. That wouldn't be a big deal though.

Assume, print me up one somebody. That would be perfect for my weather clock. I wouldn't bother with hooking up a camera board. I'd just have to figure out how to cram a battery in there somewhere. I guess I should have kept reading, then I would have seen that other link. Now we just need Adafruit or the PiHut to mass produce some out of molded plastic.

30 years ago I could got one printed and then got my Dad to make a mold of it and cast one of aluminium ,,he worked in a foundry for years, ,and did similar stuff all the time of aluminum ,but mostly steel ..

I'm not sure why they advised to ",Remove the GPIO connector that comes with the Sense HAT,"? I didn't have to do anything to mine and I used the tall stacking header? The pins don't protrude through the top on my setup.

Not sure, maybe it makes it too high, don't even know if it would

Yeah, doesn't make any sense to me? I can see the pins in the picture where they removed it. I don't think it needed to be done. I won't be doing it unless I absolutely have to. Assuming I ever get my hands on that case.

I think its just for that case, not an issue for all cases I would think

Yeah, maybe, still doesn't make sense to me. The pins on the stacking header didn't protrude through the top, and the bottom GPIO header on the sense hat is shorter than your normal header. There should have been room if you left it in place.
