Yeah well, I just spoke with the pain clinic & because of the strict rules applied to her pain meds, I need to call ALL the places she's been in to get her records faxed to them. WTF. why is this so difficult, she had a stroke, it's on record. She's going to run out of pain meds & go into withdrawal.

It's a light breeze today, the current 42°F outside has a 'feels like' of 37°F.

Morning Borg. I understand the needs for rules but as you say, she has had a stroke. Obvious they need to have additional processes that can be followed. What about the person that doesn't have someone to assist.

Morning Bree. I would love to have your winter. Around my MIL they are talking up to 35cm of lake effect snow. There is a downside living beside a Great Lake.

That's what I'm wondering also, what happens in that situation. I just hope there isn't going to be too many probs with this thing, but I'm going to have to call 5 or more facilities.

Even that is crazy. One doctor and the last place she was in should be able to say, yes, this woman has had a stroke and cannot walk. We had an ambulance service transport her home. The need for 5 places to verify the verification of the verification is just making life difficult.
