    @Caledon Ken

Speaking of software, looks like I'm going to have to fire up the old PC & retrieve my PPS viewer. I had one from 2003 or something like that I used to use for when I got the occasional PPS, but now all the links for the old viewer which worked fine on my other machine are all dead, like MS told them to take them down.

I know you can view them online & such, but having one is handy when you need it occasionally.

Another cold and bright day here.
    Good morning Ken.

A bit colder than it should be, but unexpectedly dry today. I'll take that

    Good morning Borg.

Around mid 40's here too, which is below average for the time of year. But today is a dry interlude before the rain returns on Sunday, so that's not too bad.
That's not too bad, best thing is to not go out if you don't have to. Glad you got some dry weather. Nows the time to get things done before the rain.

BTW, have a look at this vid sometime, pretty darn funny & about a classic British car

    Afternoon Bree.

Hope you got all your stuff done & don't have to go anywhere today.
Yep, all done successfully. I had to replace the washer for the cold water tap in my kitchen. As my mains stop tap is in the garage that meant going outside to turn it off, and again to turn it back on again. Also, I had to go out to buy the new washer, so that was three time I had to go out in all. With a 'feels like' a few degrees above the air temp it was quite pleasant outside

    Afternoon Bree.

I have a leaky shower control. It has been installed for 16 months and it leaks. No questions from the vendor but this stuff shouldn't leak for years and years. I called Feb 12th and they are on back order until at least March.

I know you want to cut production costs to maximize profits but at some point they go to far. Now they are swamped with warranty calls eating up any and all profits made, not to mention brand reputation concerns.

Like Boeing, how cheap can we go with killing the company. I think they got their answer.

    Morning Charlie.

Sounds like you were busy. Time to kick back & enjoy a pint.

I have a BIOS update from Dell...again....like 3rd time in 5 months. I might put this one off. I know the process is a lot better then it was, but still, bad things can happen when you have to do one of those, always makes me nervous.

I'm also wondering why the hell I keep getting updates for the KB, (Steel series), I mean seriously, I've had a bunch of those also & I normally don't apply them. I never put their software in either. The Steel series KB software is under scrutiny, has been for a while, as a keylogger. I have it shut off from the net & found a 3rd party program for adjusting the colors on it.

It was set up so you could only do like 3 color combinations pre-programmed & it basically said if you want more colors d/l & install our software.

    Hard pass

Yeah I think it's strange all over. Brink said he was in the 80's yesterday, that's pretty early even for down south. Our spring is usually back/forth anyway when it comes to weather but for the past couple years it's been anyone's guess what's going to happen.
80's are really a bit early, but we're heading towards Marc, and any weather is possible here in March. Anyway, wish you get some decent weather soon

It's cooler here, but at least it's staying dry until tomorrow. Occasional hazy sun, mostly cloudy but bright.
Afternoon Bree. Dry is better than wet, mostly
