She's doing better thank you.
The sores on her foot are finally starting to heal up, so that's headed in the right direction.
The exercise bike is still off limits due to things healing, so I bought one of those electrical muscle stimulation things, it's actually an EMS unit, for muscle therapy. The PT person told me which one to get.
I asked him if I hooked them to her head & turned it all the way up, might that help heal her brain? He said please don't try that.
Well, we got this one, has 3 settings & it does help. According to the PT guy, any stimulation keeps the muscles from atrophying so we're doing it once, sometimes 2X a day. He says this is a good thing to do being she can't use the pedal bike due to the wounds on the foot.
Also using it on her arm, which helps with the muscles also.

Well it looks like we may not have to build a ramp.
The city just called, they said that they could allow a stair lift sticking slightly into the street under a "encroachment agreement", so what that involves is they'll have to have a lawyer draw up some documents, I'll have to pay between $100 - 250, then I come down, sign some papers, pay the bill & then the stair lift can be installed.
So that's some good news if it all goes through. In actuality a stair lift would be a lot more practical then the ramp, which would have to start 32 feet from the house in order for that to work & it would still have to be a bit steeper then the normal ones are.
The stair lift will actually be a bit more expensive, tween 13 - 15K, but a lot more practical then a ramp I think.
