Morning Ghot, if not exactly a good one

That's really bad timing (isn't it always?). Wrap up well and I hope the furnace (we call it a boiler over here) gets fixed ASAP.

It should be. We just had it replaced within the past 10 years, so it's probably something stupid.

    Good morning/afternoon everyone. Happy Thursday.

Woke up this morning and... no heat. The furnace isn't working for some reason.
And... it's a relatively new furnace. Less than 10 years old?
So I'm waiting for a call from the furnace people. Oh joy. LOL
I keep my furnace tuned up and checked every year ....always have.

Glad you got power and 'net back, lots of damage up your way. Why do you need the "K" flavor? ()

    Hopefully something simple & inexpensive.

The way they over electroinify everything nowadays is mostly to blame. Our new furnace when we got it, motherboard was bad...so was the next one they ordered. Three was a charm but the guy told me if that goes out you'll have to pay $500 for a new one. The old one didn't have any of all that electronic crap attached & worked fine for 40+ years.

    Same.
The old behemoth we had was probably 60 years old. Other than a few blower motors over the years... it worked like a champ.

This one is electric start, no pilot light.
I checked the breaker(s) and nothing was tripped.

Too bad Santa doesn't give coal in stockings anymore.
