Hello!

I had this question from the 90's when I was playing the game Magic Pockets in my 8088 PC 640KB RAM, Paradise VGA 256KB. I recently played the game in DosBox and was curious if anyone knows what's going on. In VGA mode the game plays in 320x240 256 colors resolution (aka VGA Mode X). So far so good. But there is a point in the first stage with a TV set (see screenshots) and when you click on this TV set you see the whole stage at higher resolution! How is that possible? I know that my 256KB VGA could display the non-standard 640x400 256 colors mode, but not the 640x480 256 colors mode, since there was not enough VRAM. Does anyone knows if the higher resolution is indeed 640x480 256 colors or some visual trick?

Thank you in advance
