    tricks still valid?

When I lost my password on win7(boot by CSM),I often rename cmd.exe to Magnify.exe ,and change the password on login screen via the magnify icon.
I want to know if it is valid on win10(boot by UEFI) now, since I got blue screen when I took this trick.

    Here are suitable methods:
Change Account Password in Windows 10

Option 3 e.g. is for a forgotten local password.

If you have a MS live id password, that's different.

Note: setting a PIN e.g. does NOT mean your password can be forgotten, nor does it mean it will not be required in certain circumstances.

It still works even on Windows 11. I use it as backup to access CMD with System rights before logon.
