I can not disagree on that one.. Gardening and landscaping is fun.. I miss my old job... it was nice to work outside.. even those days it did rain.
I only have a small garden, but it's so nice to potter around in it, tweaking this or that. I can loose myself for hours like that, always ending up feeling mentally refreshed.
Taking cuttings is also very satisfying. My daughter has an allotment, and has plans for a seating area at the bottom surrounded by lavender. I'm usually quite good at propagating by cuttings, but lavender has always proved difficult for me. I've mastered it now though and have 36 young plants ready and waiting for her 
Time I tried for an early (for me) night. So I think I'll sign off now, have a bedtime cocoa, and try to get off to sleep....

small gardens is harder then big ones.. as you have less aria to make things happen and to fit things without it starts looking weird or misplaced.
I have forgot a lot of things.. i only worked a few years with it in the first half of the 90's until my body told me it was time for a new job. :)
The last 20+years i have been living in an apartment one floor up.. so i have no garden of my own.. I do help my mother some times if she need some tree to be cut so it dont get to wide and so.. But she is like us that like garnering so she dont ask me about help to often so to speak. She is also good on taking cuttings.. I never learned that.. But i know the basics how to, so to speak. :)
same here.. I'm going to shut down this power-plant for the night too, as i have some errands to run tomorrow.... so tomorrow i might look in later then usual or the day after if I'm to tired when i get home.
