year of birth 2000

2000+70 = 2070.

If you subtract age from year to get date of birth and then add age on, you you get back to year current year.

Mathematically

C = current year

A = age

D = date of birth

C-A = D

D + A ?

Subsitute C-A

Thus C-A+A = C
