Likely you have rabbits Borg and they are foraging. They will find one way or the other, they love young plants. My wife spreads used coffee grounds around her plants as they come up. Seems squirrels and rabbits aren't to pleased with coffee. Worked the last three years.

Hey that's an idea, thanks, I'll try that later if I remember.

I actually haven't seen any rabbits in our area, which is odd but they seem to prefer the neighborhoods in town. Used to see them on the streets & in the yards when I had to go to work at 6AM years back. Probably none here due to the predators we have in the area being we're next to the woods. Even saw a hawk swoop down once & grab a squirrel on the hillside a few years back.

It's like we're living in a NatGeo show.....
