Certainly feels like it here. Warm and sunny.


Just finished a five mile speed walk. Tried running a bit, but soon had to stop. Just not quiet there yet. Foot feels like it's been hit with a 10 lb. sledge hammer.

The good news is, I firmly believe through a clean high protein/low carb diet, and daily walking and exercise, I've got a good shot at beating the PHN issue.

Already, starting into week 8, but can definitely tell a difference. Nerve pain in right side lower back, buttocks and thigh, have all but vanished. It remains from knee down, both calf and shin, and especially my foot. But I am very optimistic, and refuse to give in.
