Sounds like you had a good SolderDay . my screen issue was with the newer version of raspbian i had on the card ,the ptft didnt boot to newer raspbian ,so i went to adafruit did some research and dowloaded the older suggested version from 2017 ,But it didnt work, The Pi400 put out a message that it didnt work with the older version of Raspbian , not a issue with the flat Hat hacker so I'll just use it on a older Pi setup

Ah, yeah, if you want the boot info etc to show on the PiTFT it needs that custom Adafruit firmware image. And as you found out the Pi 400 needs Buster or Bullseye to boot up.
That's similar to what happened to me with my Pi 4B and Motioneye OS

Lots of wires to solder to get it to do what I want. All the SPI stuff is wired up, plus power and display reset. My Pico Display pack works in both sockets now. Buttons and the LED to wire up now. One will be stock, wired up as it was intended by Pimoroni. The second one used the alternate chip select and Backlight pins. Same ones used on the Pico Breakout Garden rear SPI socket. The buttons and LED's will go on the spare pins not used on the Pico. There are just enough that I can wire that all on the same side of the PICO socket. 14 wires total to wire up the buttons and LED's.
I've already wired up that many or more as it is now.

Here are some pics of my new build. I have a reset button for the Pico wired up on the Proto Board. The Pico Lipo doesn't have one, and this is easier than messing with trying to add one to it. The other switch grounds the 3V3_EN pin. It's a very convent on off switch. Switch it down and it grounds that pin turning the PICO off, no 3.3V out. I can swap displays etc without having to unplug the USB cable. I have the second Display proto all wired up, just forgot to take a picture before I mounted things back up. I had thought I had taken a picture with the display on but couldn't find it on my camera? Just a regular Pi Pico on it for now.

I also but a PiZeo 2W into my Red Pi Keyboard ,just because i could lol ,no access to header make it almost useless

I'm likely going make it a little narrower, and tilt it back at 45' or so. I have a jig I can use to cut the beams at a 45 degree angle.

I've thought about plugging my Pi 400 flat hat hacker vertically into my pHat Stack. It would end up in the L configuration your talking about. I usually have one or two of the small breakout garden LCD's plugged in so haven't bothered. They end up vertical when plugged into the Breakout Garden Hat.

Doesn't the Pi keyboard have a USB Hub built it? That could be wired to the Pi Zero 2?

yeah,I'm just tinkering ,and I didn't want to do any soldering ,just using a usb to micro usb adapter to connect the 2 ,and mini hdmi adaptor to monitor ..

Doing a little clean up and putting some stuff away to get rid of some of the clutter on my desk. A quick count shows I have 10 Pi Pico's, 1 Tiny2040 8mb and a PicoLipo 16mb. I flash_nuked all the ones I put back in storage. No wondering what was last flashed to them, all back to factory condition now. As close as you can get to it anyway. I left all my little Pirate Logo Stickers on them though, as they will most likely get flashed with Pimoroni's Micro Python uf2 file. If I do something fancy with one of them I'll change the sticker. I like to put those little stickers on them to keep track of what was flashed to them. From those small sheets of stickers you get with some of Pimoroni's stuff. A "C" for Circuit Python, Pi Logo for the stock Pi Foundation Micro Python, and the Pirate Logo for Pimoroni's Micro Python. Right now two of them have an "E" on them as they are running an Experimental unofficial Pimoroni uf2.
I also put the number stickers on my Motion Eye Cameras to keep track of which one is which. It also tells me what IP address its using Camera 1 uses 192.168.0.101, Camera 2 192.168.0.102 etc. Every once in a while I grab one I haven't used in a while and a quick look for the sticker lets me know what number I gave it when I set it up.

Thinking back a bit, I seem to remember somebody (on twitter) putting a Pi 3A+ in a Pi keyboard? I think it was a 3A+? That would be about as powerful as the Zero 2 you put in yours. Mind you, this was way before the Pi 400 became a real thing you could buy.
Pi 400's, Pi 4B's, and Compute Modules are about all you can get your hands on these days, if your quick enough to grab one. Those SOC's they can get, the other ones not so much.

I've got about 8 sheets of those stickers that come with "some" orders, and a bunch of the other ones from the packs. Phil Howard sent me some of the Picade ones as a favor for helping out on the forums. I used them on my Pirate Radio, they are clear with white text. Great for putting on the Black Mini Arcade Buttons that I used. He also threw in some of the packs they sell. I have at least one of those my other computer cost $30, Pi stickers. A big one and a small one I think? I have been tempted to stick one on my laptop.

EDIT: The Picade ones just look like a sheet of white paper? The backing card they are stuck too is white? Makes you wonder what were they thinking? You have to shine the light on them just right to see what they say, or peel them off?
