Mornin' Dr.Borg, yes we have had a few chilly night.

If those idiots get drunk and think they are getting into it, they are in for a nasty surprise.
Yeah, I didn't think anyone would actually succeed in getting on base.

Hard to say what would have happened though had the estimated 1 mil people try to rush the base. But I'm sure they would have dealt with it somehow.

Borg do you watch any of those haunted places TV theme shows? Must be a big following as there is always a new one.
Nah, we don't watch any of that. Someone working for the show in an anonymous interview said they stage a lot of that stuff.

I'm not a ghost enthusiast, I just accept that fact there are strange things that happen in this world that have no apparent explanation.

My temps will get close to 80° today, its a nice sunny warm day. All Weekend.
It hit the lower 80's yesterday, so we're not into totally cool temps yet. Morrow is supposed to be upper 80's. That's the way it goes around here during fall.

Well the other day Apple released their new iOS for their phone. Normally I stay clear of such updates for at least three weeks. This one offered Dark themes for the iPhone and that I wanted.

Big mistake. Siri has decided she will only listen to me when it suits her, all calls default to speaker, PIA when you have blue tooth or ear buds and calls just drop mid sentence. The patch release was moved from Sept 30th to the 24th the issues are so bad.

Remember the days Apple fans use to laugh at Microsoft because of botched updates...?

    When will I learn.

    Morning Mike
Just heard on Fox News ...latest Apple update has 3 serious bugs... I would check into that. One of them was even if you have tracking off....its still on, and anyone can track you...

. My old lappy, if I enable Fast boot has a habit of shutting down during boot and the only way to get it to boot again is to take out the battery.
That sux, Keith! How in the world did you figure that one out? I'd still be scratchin' my head!

BTW, she booted up just as she should this morning, with my dual boot screen coming right up.

Thanks again for reminding me to try the simple fixes first.

Well, you never know. The UK has a lot of haunted spots due to it's history & the fact that some places have stood for a long time.

Morning Wynona, Gracie, and Lucy. Luck really. I noticed that the power light was off even with it plugged in so I started to pull it apart.

Well, the question is what was there before.

I remember reading something that happened in London I believe, about someone seeing the ghosts of some Roman soldiers walking, but the portion below their knees was not there. They dug & found an old road the Romans built 2 or 3 feet under the dirt.

    Just weird.

But yeah, that location makes it less likely anything was hanging around.
