Just back from the docs. Some good news for a change. She has been doing experiments with my diabetes meds. Last time she reduced one of them by half and my blood sugars have stayed the same so she has now stopped the other one completely. Just an 8 week trial so we will see what happens.

Diabetes is always a pain, My mother has to carry an emergency shot if she's out for more than a couple
of hours.
I been Lucky , though having it on both sides of the family , I've come up clean so far.
Not to mention in my family it only shows up at 60.

I was diagnosed just after my 70th birthday. I've never needed insulin just two tablets. Sitagliptin and Metformin.

Just be careful with Doctors they will have you try all sorts of things.
Like Fitbits , pulse monitors , multiple daily blood pressure readings.

Been through all that when my GPs computer decided after analysing an ECG that I must have had a heart attack. After a week of tests the cardiologist said. Oh if I'd seen that...
