    Good morning / afternoon folks.

In the upper 40's this morn, although they say it'll hit the 80's later on.

Big day today, my Wife has to get some major dental work done. She'll be in the chair for 4 - 5 hours. Not going to be a good day for her.

The problem is going to be keeping her blood sugars from dropping since she can't eat once the work starts. We'll cut the steady supply of insulin (her V-GO) & I got her some Boost drinks, hopefully that'll help. I'll also have to monitor her blood sugars.

Going to be a complicated day.
Morning Borg. That sounds a nasty day your wife is going to have.

    Afternoon kado.

Yeah, not a fun day but in the long run she'll be better off. She's got a infection in one tooth under the gum line up front. She's had it for about 9 months (she didn't tell me about this until recently due to her fear of going to the dentist). The dentist said it's fortunate it's been draining. It's been root canaled 2X, so now the only option is for it to come out & put in a partial.

I think things will be better once she gets rid of that constant infection. Not to mention the fact if it stops draining, the infection will spread upward which can cause some serious problems. Dentist said he wouldn't give her AB's due to if the drain heals up & it comes back, she could have some serious life threatening issues.

I got pretty mad at her for not saying anything. She said she was worried about how she would look. I said she was an idiot & she's lucky that hasn't escalated into something way worse.

Fear of doctors and dentists is a real problem. Like you say things get worse, not better, when you ignore them.

I had more issue with Mac on a Windows 7 machine. Not recognizing USB ports.

If they are USB3 ports you will have trouble with Win 7's PE or RE. You may need to use the Win 8 or 10 PE.

I can understand a fear of dentists, not too crazy about them myself, but her being diabetic, having an infection that can spread to the brain....& not saying anything about it for as long as she kept it hidden.....

    Sometimes, I swear......

Well folks, time for me to head out. I have to go by the market again, another med came in, & then we have to get ready for today .

She's not happy & scared, but I told her think positive, you're getting rid of an ongoing infection, that will help your sugars as well as get rid of something that could seriously mess you up.

You all take care & have a good safe day
