How can I recover my Windows 7 OEM product key:How can I recover my Windows 7 OEM product key from Microsoft - Microsoft Community

Microsoft OEM products are Microsoft products that were supplied with a computer or in the case of software, installed on a computer by a computer manufacturer. This can include your operating system (such as Windows 10).

For customers with an OEM product, the primary source for support is the personal computer manufacturer who provided the Microsoft product.
Because your computer manufacturer has configured your computer hardware and software they would be the primary resource to contact for any technical support for preinstalled Microsoft product that might be needed. You may be entitled to free warranty support from your computer manufacturer.

slmgr /ato in a command prompt. head to Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Troubleshoot to fix it immediately

    ps : slmgr /ato

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/...troubleshooter

"Microsoft has just released an Emerging issue announcement about current activation issue related to Pro edition recently. This happens in Japan, Korea, American and many other countries.I am very sorry to inform you that there is a temporary issue with Microsoft's activation server at the moment and some customers might experience this issue where Windows is displayed as not activated. Our engineers are working tirelessly to resolve this issue and it is expected to be corrected within one to two business days."

Microsoft support team says that the company is investigating the reports and a fix is expected to arrive soon.

It’s a bug experienced on Microsoft’s activation servers and Microsoft is already working on a solution. It’s likely that everything will return to normal in just a few hours or it may take several hours in some regions.
For now, you will have to wait until the fix is deployed.

This problem seems to affect Windows 10 Professional users who upgraded from Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8 Professional. Microsoft’s activation servers suddenly decided their digital licenses were no good and deactivated them. After running the activation troubleshooter, Windows 10 said their systems should actually be using Windows 10 Home instead of Windows 10 Professional.

this problem is now fixed and affected PCs will automatically become activated again sometime in the next 24 hours.

Our engineers are working tirelessly to resolve this issue and it is expected to be corrected within one to two business days
This is an issue caused by its activation servers, and that the problem will be resolved soon. It appears those affected are users who upgraded using older Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 product keys. Devices that shipped with Windows 10 Pro appear to be unaffected at this time.

We are aware of reports that some customers’ Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise machines are not recognizing their licenses as activated. Users may receive the following notification: “Error: you are running Windows 10 Pro, but you have valid digital license for Windows 10 Home," or one of the following error codes 0X803F8001, 0xC004C003.

We are actively working to resolve this within 24 hours. You can still use your PC; however, the watermark will appear until activation is restored. Thank you for your patience.

Users report that Windows activation troubleshooter might say You have a Windows 10 Home license but you are running Windows 10 Pro. You are advised to ignore that message and wait for the fix.

Edit 2: Users are reporting that it is fixed. Affected users should run the activation troubleshooter and see if it fixes the issue.
