Yeah, pretty busy day. Would have been able to cut out the stores if my Wife hadn't been with me. But she was out & about & said "lets stop here & here."

Alright, she doesn't get out much anymore or like to go out so I'm glad she was able to get a bit of exercise.

In the 60's this morn, or it was, low 70's now, humidity went away yesterday eve & we have a couple days before it comes back.

Busy day yesterday, 3 doc appts, and 3 stores, + a stop at the medical store to get my Wife's test strips.

Only one doc appt today. Although I do have to run up to the hosp in a bit to get some paperwork signed.

OK, so I finally saw the doc yesterday, the one that prescribed the meds that I couldn't get to save my life.

The nurse walks in & says "OK, so your taking those 1X a day"

I said "No, I'm not"

She says "Why not"

I say "Because I never got them, I've been here 3X to drop off paperwork, called several times and explained they need a pre-auth from the pharm comapny & nothing ever happened."

She says "OK, let me go talk to someone"

She comes back with her little pad showing me a message that they script was called in & I say no, the brand name was called in, I need the generic & it needs a pre-auth"

She leaves, comes back 10 mins later telling me the pharm claims they never got the script, they called the pharm company & they sent the script to the pharmacy.

I told them the generic needs an approval. They said we just talked to the ins & they said that was OK.

So I'm guessing this is going to turn into another huge mess, being that my co-pay for pre-auth should be $1:45 according to the rep, & pharm telling me it's going to be $44.



OH, & I had to make a cop-pay of $25 for that experience where they did basically nothing & told me to come back in 6 weeks & then we'll do some blood work.
