Here (Maryland) we just drive over to the local MDOT station, every 2 years.....they stick the Electronic snooper in the thumb slot under the dash, then into their lappy, print you a Report Card, and send you on your way. Only costs $60 for a 30 second visit!

Here in Maine, we have to go for our Inspection Sticker every year, they go thru everything..... if your car fails inspection, you must repair whatever they find wrong, before you get a new sticker. Nobody hooks up anything into the car computer.

That's news to me, not that I mind being a beta tester for them. It just seems if they are going to update you to a beta version, they should tell you. I don't mind, but others would.

Mike, I have been running it for a couple of years. I use the free version though. I thought the French were part of the EU. You know, transparency and all that stuff?
