Sometimes that's all you can do, put up with the little glitches that software has. I've seen enough odd behavior in programs over the years.

Yeah, fortunately it didn't do it to mine either. I did have some probs with the updates on one of the 7 OS's, nothing major though.
    Good morning Borg :)

Nope. It's back to normal. 20° cooler than last weekend, cloudy and rain forecast.

On my Lenovo when the splash screen is up press enter then F12 to select boot device this all has to happen before the BIOS goes to the hard drive to boot I have a W530.You can also set up the BIOS to boot from the USB device first if the BIOS sees a bootable USB drive there.
    Thanks, Beeman. I'll try that.

The BIOS in these HPs also allows setup to let USB boot first when it's there, but when I set them up, they don't obey.

Maybe the Lenovo is a bit better behaved. :)

Morning OM & Sammy. Hopefully you didn't encounter any probs with the update.

Did you overclock your toilet yet?

Sorry about the delay in noticing we had switched threads 3 days ago. I've had a lot on my mind with all this stuff going on with my Wife & I honestly didn't even notice until last night...after a couple wee drams. Go figure?
