    Hi kimghob,

If you cannot download updates then do not bother to try it again until your system becomes more stable.

I would recommend that you try 2 things,
    1. Update the BIOS, read the user manual for how you can do this http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/..._Formula-Z.pdf

    2. Install the USB controller drivers that ASUS provides for your motherboard. Did Windows install those? The current installed are newer than the onces ASUS provides.
    Code:
    6: kd> lmvm asmtxhci
    Browse full module list
    start end module name
    fffff800`6bcb0000 fffff800`6bd20000 asmtxhci T (no symbols)

That's what I was afraid of. Go ahead with the ram test and driver verifier (if needed). Let's see if we can get it to run well enough to get updates applied.

It isn't allowing for me to do much of anything on there, it keeps going down, I tried to go to ASUS and was going to download a couple of their programs, then the BSOD happened, over and over, not getting very far, very fast.

Try booting to Safe Mode with Networking.
See what you can do from there.

Click Start then click on the Power icon.
Hold down the Shift key and click on Restart.

Okay, I will try that, otherwise, I cannot do any downloads what-so-ever, as it goes down now every 2 mins. I'm just posting off my Chromebook to respond to all posts.

If push comes to shove, I might have to take it into Fry's Electronics to have them check each piece of hardware in a second computer, that they know works. Just to find out if it is something in my hardware and not a software problem.

The BIOS can be flashed by downloading from a different system and booting to the BIOS on the pc.

The drivers may be downloaded too through a different system, installing can be fast too depending on the speed of your system.
