    Hi,
I am not sure I understand your questions. What do you mean by "what is the device manager" - it's designed to show you what devices are connected and their status (enabled, disabled, driver status, etc.). I still have a device with code 28 (unknown device - not sure what it is).

I have many many USB devices connected (12-15) and all of them seem to work - I can try and disconnect all of them aside from mouse and keyboard restart and see if something changes.

Here is what my device manager shows if this helps in any way:

Why are you sharing this with me? at the moment we are not talking about BSOD but rather about USB issues...

    1) The log collector required a name and it is used most frequently in the BSOD forum

    2) If there are BSOD then you're now in the correct forum

    3) If there are no BSOD you can open a new thread in another forum room and close this thread

    4) Posting a V2 share link can enable those that read the log files to provide help in any forum room

    Hi,
Not sure what you mean by #1.

As for BSOD - this thread has to do with several problems related to my PC. One of them has to do with BSOD during PP but I am currently testing my RAM (removing one, working with the other, and then switching - this should take about a week or so to try and get to a conclusion).

The second issue has to do with USBs on my machine and does not (as fast as I can tell) involve BSOD). This is the one that we are trying to figure out.

I hope this is more clear.

I get different BSODs and crashes of the software itself (one of them is Unexpected kernel mode trap BSOD but there are others like Page fault in nonpaged area bsod and others). I tried many things and been trying my luck with Microsoft forums - so far with no resolution.

    0x80070643 error

In this forum comprehensive troubleshooting is provided by scanning and reading log files.

If you do not want this then you can open a thread in another forum room.
