[W10] Kernel Power 41 - Unexpected instant shutdown

Hi.

For a couple of weeks now my system has been randomly shutting down. The last memtest reported no detected issues. I've tried checking RAM, swapped them, tried only 1, then 2, then 3, 4. Same shutdown result. RAM, CPU, MB, PSU and GPU aren't defective or damaged. I've troubleshooted most of my hardware, including hard disks, SSDs. Though I came across another member reporting the same "KP 41" bugcheck:

That Kernel Power 41 error is a red herring, IMO it's also badly named by Microsoft. All it tells you is that Windows was not shut down correctly. The name 'kernel power' comes from the fact that the kernel lost power before it had fully shutdown. It's a symptom, not the problem.

How does the system shut down? Does it just power-off or do you see a shutting down sequence?

Can you predict when it will shut down? Is it when using specific apps, specific hardware, etc.?

There is no predictable pattern, its random. I believe I was simply watching Paramount+, it just instantly shut down. No signs of it preparing to shutdown, it just simply shut off as if the CPU overheated, but the only component that is hotter than the rest of the system is the North Bridge at 60C idle. CPU is always between 25-50C idle, GPU 30-40 idle.

My full specs are in my "My Computer" details.

EDIT: I should note that my PSU is a new replacement from my old one, same model.

Sadly, and for reasons that I don't fully understand, I can't display the WHEA error details in the dump.

I did see in your System log that most (possibly all) of the shutdowns were initiated by the RuntimeBroker, as in this example...

The RuntimeBroker is the interface between the Universal Apps (the ones from the Microsoft Store) and Windows, it's primarily concerned with ensuring that all the right privacy and permission settings are correct for each app. I don't recall ever having seen the RuntimeBroker initiate a shutdown before, it would suggest that a Universal App is initiating the shutdown (possibly)?

This happened about two weeks ago you say, so what changed about two weeks ago - especially in the Universal App area?

I'm as stumped as you are on that area. I do have Pulseway on my PC and my iPhone where I can remote shutdown if I need, but its never shut down my system without my express 'command'.

The shutdowns occur randomly as I mentioned. I attempted to analyse the dump myself too but didn't get as far as you did.

Not a random shutdown this time but a BSOD.
