    BSOD while PC idle

    Hi Guys,

    I keep having these 2 BSOD errors randomly while PC is in idle. Is anyone able to tell me where the problem is?

    Both dump file are attached.

    Much appriciated.

    I have had a look at the logs and some of the dumps
    The problem appears to be a driver but I cannot yet identify which one

    An examination of the logs raises suspicion that it MAY be connected with either
    1. Remote Access Solutions - Splashtop Inc.

    You have
    Splashtop Business 3.5.0.1 Splashtop Inc.
    Splashtop Software Updater1.5.6.19 Splashtop Inc.

    Even if you are not actually using that software which presumably you are not when it is at idle, it MAY still be the culprit.
    I suggest you uninstall it presuming you can easily reinstall it.

    Then TEST again.
    This post covers a number of possible causes I recommend you ONLY try one at a time and test after each
    otherwise you will not of course know which was the cause. If indeed any of them are.

    2. The problem with splashtop is shown here
    FriendlyEventName=Stopped working
    ConsentKey=BEX
    AppName=Splashtop Business
    AppPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Client for STB\strwinclt.exe
    NsPartner=windows

    3. Another apparent problem is
    FriendlyEventName=Stopped working
    ConsentKey=BEX64
    AppName=Radeon Settings: CPU Metrics Server
    AppPath=C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\cpumetricsserver.exe

    There have been some reports of this AMD software apparently causing problems
    I recommend you follow the procedure here

    Go here
    https://www.amd.com/en/support/graph...eon-rx-5600-xt
    and download that file
    Adrenalin 22.3.2 Optional

    DO NOT INSTALL IT = save the file to your desktop.,
    Go settings and PAUSE windows updates
    Go here
    https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/rsx2-uninstall
    and uninstall the AMD software shown for the graphics

    RESTART the computer
    Go here and follow the procedure on the saved download for the CUSTOM install of the graphics driver
    https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/rsx2-install
    using the custom install of driver only

    RESTART the computer and TEST to see if still problems occur at idle..
    Driver Only - Provides no user interface for AMD Software features.

    4. Another possible problem is YOUR power scheme
    It is
    Power Scheme GUID: 9897998c-92de-4669-853f-b7cd3ecb2790 (AMD RyzenT Balanced) *
    I recommend you change the scheme from Ryzen to
    standard High performance.
    Remember again to test to see if problems still exisits when computer is idle.

    If those suggestions do not help I will offer other possible solutions when you reply

    Thank you for looking at the logs. I did try all the suggestions, but I kept having the BSODs. I decided to reinstall windows and start from fresh. So far, there is no issue, but I will keep eye on it and let you know if I have any problems.

    Much appreciate your help.

    Cheers
    Often the easier way when the actual cause cannot be specifically identified.
    Of course it does not always solve it, depending on what issue was causing the problem
