    umm.. zbook, how do I test with the SeaTools? I can't boot into the Windows right now and it seems they run inside Windows.

    Should I just jump to the commands?

    Or should I use SeaTools Bootable as listed here.

    Yes. I'm certain it was a UEFI installation.

    The disk passed the SMART test, but failed the Long Generic Test.

    R.I.P.

    Any reasons for the disk failure that you can think of? The laptop wasn't really mobile... the only places it was used being my bed and side-table. So anything you can think of?
