Dell XPS 13 9300 BSOD's Due to Driver_State_Power_Failure

Hi all, first time poster, but have been in and out of this site for years when researching issues. Some background, info. I bought a brand-new Dell XPS 13 9300 last Summer and have basically had this problem ever since. Whenever I've tried to use sleep on this system, I would get BSOD's with the same error code, 0x00...9f. Over time I've tried many different things, including disabling sleep, only using hibernate, changing BIOS settings, updating all drivers, running tests, etc. Even when only using hibernate I'd get these crashes, and it almost always seemed related to closing the lid. I've used BlueScreenView to see logs when restarting. I've contacted Dell and their original answer was to turn off sleep in the BIOS, but when that didn't work, just to do a system refresh, which I haven't done. I recently decided to dig into the problem again after giving up for a while and have found some posts that pointed to the GoodFx fingerprint reader. This user was able to figure that out using WinDbg, which I've also tried to use. Based on the post, I turned off the option to allow windows to turn off the device, and it seemed to help for the last week. However, I came back to the laptop tonight and had another crash, pointing to pci.sys as the offending driver. Usually, ntsokrnl is the culprit. Needless to say, after spending the money to get a high-end laptop, I'm really frustrated to have to be dealing with this.

It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the Desktop.

Whilst I'm going through the logs, try this.
Remove 'Link State Power Management' in Power Options in Windows 10

Thanks, before I run though this, just to be clear, you're saying I should remove this option, correct? But also, I don't currently have this option in the advanced power options menu. The Dell power menu has very few options.

Morning @jmatt, I had actually run in to this PCI solution way back when these issues were first occurring but couldn't get the option back in the power menu. However, in the first link you provided, downloading the reg file and merging it worked, so now I have the PCIe management in the power options. I went ahead and disabled it, so we'll see how that works. Btw, the laptop didn't crash last night while the lid was shut so that's a positive.

@zebal, thanks for jumping in! Before I download that driver, just wanted to let you know that the current driver I have is new than that one. The version I have is 22.30.0.11, the version in your link is 22.30.0.4, A25, which is funny because it says it just came out. But I think I got my version directly from Intel's site. Do you still recommend that I update to the Dell version?
