    Windows 10 crashes and restarts when waking up


    Hi!

    I originally posted this on the techsupport sub-reddit and I was told to post here on the TenForums if I didn't get anything, so here I am!

    I can reliably reproduce this issue: put computer to sleep, wake up by pressing a keyboard key, motherboard RGB strip turns on, display remains blank, then motherboard status LEDs light up signaling a reset.
    After reset, system is fine, no startup errors, nothing. Except for the warnings on the event viewer.

    I am running Windows 10 Home 20H2.
    All my drivers/firmwares are up to date: GPU, chipset, BIOS, Bluetooth, LAN, WLAN, SSD.

    Memtest+ passed with 0 errors
    SSD tests came back without errors

    All I have is a mini dump in which BlueScreenView reports:

    "2045" ? Is this a 20H2 bug?

    Windows was acting janky for me, with a clean install on a brand new Samsung 970 Pro 512 GB NVMe SSD on February 4th.
    Even when the ISO is from an official source, it still acted janky, SFC claimed it found corrupt files and fixed and the log, looked like more likely a Windows issue, possibly caused by OOBE when using a Microsoft account, which I use on my daily driver, in my listed specs, the same motherboard.

    I've been having the issue in the last week. I updated to 20H2 after the bug appeared. Before that I had issues with local time and UTC with my linux partition, so I changed Windows back to using local time and setup Linux to use local time instead of UTC.

    Is it possible system files were corrupted with this change?

    So I did

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth /source:H:\sources\install.wim
sfc /scannow
    Which resulted in nothing, a dead end.
    Any other ideas?
