My PC would randomly restart whether it is in idle, playing games, or watching videos on Youtube.
I checked the Event viewer and it would give me bug check code for 126 (0x7E in hex), which relates to SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately all the crashes are not creating crash dump files, neither is there a record in the logs of any bugcheck codes.
I would start by ensuring that all drivers are up to date on your motherboard - go via the motherboard website - don't use 3rd party driver update software.
There looks to be one newer BIOS update you can try - but don't install the beta version.
Run diagnostic checks on the hardware
Memtest86 for the RAM
HDTune for the drives
Post screen shots of the results.
