    Constant BSOD/Freezing, Stumped at cause

    Hello,

Thanks for the assistance. Recently my PC has started BSODing or Just randomly locking up and restarting when using certain programs. I dont think its a hardware issue as it will run fine with some things for hours on end but consistently locks up and restart with others.

I have attached my V2 logs as well as a note from Bluescreenviewer ( It probably wont be much help though as it never generates a log when it freezes and restarts )

    Using W10 Pro Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041

    - - - Updated - - -

    What i have tried

    - Updated common drivers eg GPU
    - Ran SFC scans
    - Ran DISM Scans

You were over on Sysnative before, right? I think I recognize the name. Welcome to Tenforums.

The 12/3 dump shows a video problem:

Definitely problems with your Nvidia 970 hardware or driver.
You have driver version 457.51 dated 22-Nov-20

the Nvidia web site has this:

    Version: 457.51 WHQL
    Release Date: 2020.12.2

It's the same version but with a later release date so I don't know if it's a re-release or just a web site update.

Would you expand the System Specs in My Computer to include make and full model numbers for your motherboard, PSU and anything else you think might be useful.

How to fill out System Specs for tenforums.

See here: System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

Fill out as much as you can, look at mine for an example of what can be included. The more information the better.

Aree you doing any over or under clocking? Are you using a memory XMP profile?
